How to remove a menstrual cup
How to do it
Instead of pulling straight out like a tampon, first squeeze the cup slightly to break the suction seal.
Grip the base, not just the stem
The stem helps locate the cup, but always grip the base. Press one side in to release the vacuum.
Empty into the toilet
Empty the contents and rinse with cold water before reinserting.
