How to fold a menstrual cup

Folding your cup — easier than you think
Folding the cup makes insertion easier and more comfortable. The silicone is soft and pliable. The cup looks large but when folded becomes about the size of a tampon.
C-fold
The most common technique. Flatten the opening and fold in half to form a C-shape.
Pointed fold
Flatten and fold one side over the other like a napkin into a triangle, creating a pointed edge for easier insertion.
Roll-top fold
Similar to the C-fold but with one side rolled inward, creating a compact, rounded top.
Single-side push
Push one side inward to create a narrow point while keeping the cup compact, resembling a tampon shape.
Insertion tips
The cup unfolds automatically once released inside. Insertion should never hurt. Use warm water to soften the silicone or water-based lubricant if needed. Avoid oil-based products as they can damage the silicone.
